With her current pre-school, English Kinder Barcelona, doing extremely well abroad, Isabel approached us a few months back with plans to open one of the newest eco-friendly boutique style preschools in Chelsea, educating both English and International children, 2-5 years. Kinder London’s approach is rather different to most pre-schools, offering a ’boutique hotel’ for kindergartens that encourages vision, drive, purpose and different areas of learning.
Their mission is to provide a stimulating and enriching educational environment where small classes and high student-teacher ratios ensure that each child receives individual and caring attention.
“Our mission is to provide a warm and nurturing environment where children are introduced to values and traditions discovering the joys of learning in a happy international environment.
Our goal is to nurture each child’s personal journey towards social, emotional and educational growth and also understanding the environment.”
We set the mood and tone with a vision board first and here’s how it turned out…
Colours are suitably vibrant and playful with a confident black and grey to add substance and grounding.
At Kinder London, children are encouraged to be health conscious, learning to cook with wholesome foods and taught where these foods comes from. They’re educated in eco-friendliness, languages and topics such as the history of art and music but importantly, Kinder prides itself in its gentle yet effective teaching manner to help develop intellectual kindergartens for their next step into Primary School.
Once again, Ian turned his magical hand to drawing some gorgeous illustrations, composed in a fun yet educationally realistic style.
